Wellspring Ride for Cancer Support

Type: Cause – Fundraising Event
Two cycling adventures to choose from: The Peloton Experience is a local one day ride (50 km or 100km); The Peloton Challenge is an 8-day/7-night 24 hr ride from Toronto to Las Vegas in 2018.

The Peloton Experience has no capacity and expects 80 riders in 2019. The Peloton Challenge has a capacity of 30 riders, which we have achieved for 2019.

The Peloton Challenge is an epic life adventure, an adrenaline kick, it’s friends for life and it’s the thrilling challenge of the body, of the mind and of the spirit, all coming together to achieve a milestone. Completing The Peloton Challenge is an impressive accomplishment that only a few have the privilege of boasting, and it is an inspiring story of being able to help support those most in need. Each rider has committed to raising a minimum of $10,000 each.

What The Peloton Challenge is not, is another typical group charity ride. Instead, it’s a unique cycling challenge in which teams of cyclists (pelotons) ride together for six hours at a time, travelling distances between 120-150 km for 8 days, to travel nearly 4,000 km to raise funds to support those living with cancer.

Only 30 riders will get this opportunity to change their lives and the lives of someone living with cancer.

Advanced training, some special gear (a bicycle), and a big heart are all you need to be part of the next epic cycling adventure that will take you from Toronto to Las Vegas, passing tens of thousands of motorists and bystanders. The Peloton route will enter hundreds of towns and some towns are so far off the beaten path that our riders' arrival marks the most exciting thing to happen in months.
